March is finally here and that means the beginning of spring! Spring is the season where everything becomes new again after the long, cold, dry season called winter. Your skin acts in accordance with nature and can go through a very dry spell during winter. It’s important to understand how your skincare and makeup should change as we’re marching into spring.
Off with the old and on with the new! In order to see your new, fabulous skin for spring, you must first get rid of the old, dead, dry skin. The best way to achieve this is by taking off a few layers by using procedures such as weekly peels and daily exfoliation. DeVita’s daily Gentle Aloe Facial Scrub gently eases off old, dead skin using Goldenseal and 100% pure Jojoba beads. This amazing scrub helps improve the look of your skin and encourages new skin turnover. The truth is your moisturizer will not work on top of dry, dehydrated skin! So let’s take off the old and get on with the new.
Brighten up for the season! Let’s face it, after a dry winter in some areas, spring is a much brighter alternative. Let’s get your skin to match this brighter season! Reduce the appearance of skin discoloration by brightening and lightening your skin with DeVita’s Skin Brightening Serum.
Update your moisturizer. Continue your regular skincare regimen, but update your moisturizer. Winter usually requires a heavier moisturizer, but now is the time to switch to something lighter. Don’t forget your sun care!
Switch your foundation formula. Before we get into foundation, let’s say that it’s a “Crime not to Prime” so don’t forget to start with our Prime Corrective. If you’re currently using absolute WHIPPED or absolute softBLEND, maybe you want to think about switching to absolute BASE or Moisture TINTS in your appropriate shade.
Lighten up your makeup. This is a great season to experiment with brighter shades of makeup. Try experimenting with absolute LIPS in shades Pink Diamonds and Chestnut Spice. For your shadow, try absolute EYES quad compacts in Aegean Bronze and Metro Neutrals.
We hope that you enjoy the new season that’s coming and everything it offers. If you have any specific questions about your regimen please reach out to use via Facebook or Twitter. We would love to hear your questions and comments!
